Our menu includes a wide range of offers that span every area of ​​the Italian gastronomic tradition.  The common thread here is the excellence of raw materials.  No cutting corners.  Only quality.

The entire menu revolves around the different seasons, with special ingredients as the focus.  Organic vegetables from the trionfale and testaccio markets dip in and out of the menu depending on the season.  Homemade egg pasta.  Principato di Lucedio rice for our suppli, Eggs by Paolo Parisi – the cornerstone of our carbonara.  Legumes from Viterbo, meats From Marche and Denmark, chicken from the organic farm San Bartolomeo, butter from France and saffron from Sardinia.  For the winter months porcini mushrooms from the Italian Apennines and the white truffles from Acqualagna

We created our pizza together with one of the masters of Italian baking: Pierluigi Roscioli.  He is the “mastermind” behind our dough. Our biggest thanks go out to him.
 We focused on Roman pizza because it is in our DNA.  We use 100% organic and Italian flour.  Very little fresh yeast and French Guerande raw salt.
More than 15 varieties of tomato, 8 types of extra virgin olive oil, mozzarella from the Agro Romano and the Lattari Mountains, buffalo mozzarella exclusively from Paestum.

Nel nostro bancone i migliori salumi e prodotti italiani: dai leggendari culatelli di Spigaroli dell’Antica Corte Pallavicina e del Podere Cadassa. Prosciutto di Parma 3 ghiande Pio Tosini. Burrata di Andria. Bottarga di Cabras. Caviale italiano Calvisius. Parmigiano Vacche Rosse o Brune. Oltre 30 tipologie di formaggi italiani e francesi.

I prosciutti “Pata Negra” bellota, prodotti da maiali neri allevati allo stato brado e alimentati a ghiande: Alba Real 36 mesi di stagionatura e 70 mesi per il Gran Reserva. Il “5J” Cinco Jotas di Sanchez Romero 42 mesi e oltre di stagionatura certificato Baida Negra 100% Iberico. Joselito Gran Reserva “The King” da 48 mesi di stagionatura, il prosciutto più prestigioso al mondo.

Il nostro pasticcere ha messo a punto una linea di dessert artigianali con i migliori ingredienti.

Le uova biologiche di San Bartolomeo, il cioccolato Domori, i baccelli di vaniglia Bourbon, il burro di Bretagna, lo zucchero Muscovado, il caffè di Leonardo Lelli.

Dal tiramisù alla nostra biscotteria, è sempre un ottimo finale.

The beer list features products from the best breweries in Italy, Belgium and Germany: 18 brands plus others- in a seasonal rotation that will always keep things fresh.

Berta and Marolo grappas, Villa Zarri and Poli brandies, Single Malt and agricultural Rums by Samaroli and Mongiardino, Japanese spirits.  All the great classics and some goodies to finish … or a cocktail to start.

In Rome, the weather is almost always mild, even in winter.  Dining in our outdoor area is a pleasure in every season.  Please let us know your preference at the time of booking.  We remind you that the outdoor area is a smoking area.

Nearby there is a non-affiliated car park in Via Giulia less than 10 minutes’ walk from the restaurant.

Our Shop “Emmaemporio”

Adjacent to the restaurant entrance. You can visit our Emmaemporio – Nonsolobio where you can buy all the products used in our kitchen including our egg pasta.
 In front of the small counter you can wait for your table while sipping a glass of wine or a cocktail prepared by our barman.
 The store is also a wine shop, and is almost fully stocked with our wine list.  Wine here is kept at an optimal temperature.

Emma for Art

We are lucky enough to live and work in the historic center of the most beautiful city in the world.  Exactly in the place where Pompeo’s theater was located in Roman times and 50 meters from the place where Julius Caesar was assassinated.
 We want to give back a part of what we receive from this incredible legacy by trying to support the historical-artistic heritage of the city. We support  restoration works that need funding.  We have done it in the past with our dear friends Pierluigi and Alessandro Roscioli and we continue to do so with great satisfaction.
